B & J Trucking is an independent company that is based on the Big Island of
Hawaii, minutes from Hilo. Located in Hawaiian Paradise Park (HPP), B & J
Trucking provides a number of services for its clients ranging from excavation,
trucking gravel and cinder to building sites and removing waste materials.
B & J Trucking has cleared vacant land for years in Hilo, Puna, Mountain

Land Clearing and Excavation
B & J Trucking is capable of clearing any kind of lot from grassy to heavily
wooded. Typically the greater the growth on a lot the greater the
expense to clear it and remove the debris.
Gravel Hauling
In order to provide for a level
building surface it is often necessary to bring in gravel and other
core-base materials. These kinds of materials are readily available
from companies in Pahoa and Hilo. In addition
volcanic cinder
(red or
black) is often used for landscaping purposes.
Tree Clearing
Large
diameter trees can be especially difficult to remove in old growth
forested areas. While some
homeowners wish to preserve as much of the native trees as possible
sometimes large trees must be removed. This is particularly true with
the fast growing Albizia trees which can be a hazard
as the limbs are usually weak and break easily.
